CONTINUED PROFESSIONAL COMPETENCE SEMINAR (NAUTICAL):


Seafarers holding Certificate of Competency (COC) are required to maintain Continued Professional Competence (CPC) at all times. Effective from 1st April 2023, seafarers must attend at least two seminars to indicate Continued Professional Competence in a 5-year period. Q: Who is required to attend the seminar?
A: Seafarers holding Indian Certificate of Competency COC for Foreign Going (F.G) ship and Near Coastal Vessels (NCV) are required to attend the seminar to maintain their Continued Professional Competence (CPC).

Q: How many seminars do seafarers need to attend?
