Dry Docking Plan or Docking Plan

The docking Plan contains all the information that is required to bring the ship to Dry Dock. Most of the information is given in the form of Drawings, special notes, and text. It is issued to the ship during its preliminary design. It also contains all the technical requirements that are to be met before the ship can proceed to the dry dock.

The following plans and drawings are required for Dry Dock:
(1) G.A. plan
(2) Docking plan
(3) Capacity plan with D.wt and displacement /draft scale.
(4) Shell Expansion.
(5) Mid-ship Section For structural repairs.
(6) Detailed location plans of areas where repairs and renewals are required.
(7) Assembly drawing of the propeller shaft, propeller, and stern tube.
